9/3/2013 – Lunch & Play
We did ask about dry camping
and even though the parking lot was quite small they all said that it was
acceptable. We did not stay the night we
just played and had some lunch.
Our experience at Manzanita
Restaurant was just alright, our server was having an off day so the service
was not the best it could have or should have been but the food was fabulous
and we would highly recommend it.
I had the Tuscan Pesto Chicken
Sandwich with Waffle Fries. The chicken breast
is marinated in pesto and grilled. It
was served on a really soft and fresh sourdough baguette topped with melted
provolone cheese. Then it was finished
with a red pepper and tomato relish that was so delicious that it made my mouth
water for more.
Jerry had the Roasted Pork
Loin Sandwich with Onion Rings. The pork
loin was very moist and the apple slaw that was added along with the caramelized
onions and even the brie cheese was not overwhelming, just enough to complement
each other and enhance all the different flavors going on in our mouths.
We hit a few jackpots so we
did not spend a cent and had a nice lunch and some fun time and left winners.
