We had passed through this area several times but never could find a decent park but now that we have we will be checking this place out in the future and we highly recommend it to others.

We paid $32.58 using our Good Sam 10% discount for a flat pull through site on gravel with 50/30 electric, water, sewer and free WiFi with a patio and picnic table.

The area was well manicured and very uniquely designed.

The restrooms and laundry area were kept clean and well maintained.

2020 UPDATE - They are no longer part of the Coast to Coast membership but they now accept Passport America 50% membership. We paid $19.69 for a pull through gravel site with 30amp electric, water and sewer.

We paid $15.94 using our Coast to Coast membership for a pull through gravel site with 50/30 electric, water, and sewer.

The customer service was amazing, especially for using our membership. Very rarely are we able to change and especially add a night to our original reservation without an act of Congress. It was wonderful when we asked to add a night that without hesitation and a lot of enthusiasm she said, “Yes, of course” and with a few clicks it was completed.

There was some highway noise since we were right off of I-40 but were able to drown it out with our fan while sleeping.

It was great checking out all the different types of RV’s on display.

The entire place had a nostalgic appearance to it that we were able to relate to many of the items they had on display.

There was a great pride that was apparent throughout the park that everything was maintained and kept clean and updated.

We paid $46.13 for a huge water, sewer 30amp electric site on level gravel with a picnic table with free WiFi and satellite. The sites are huge and the park is so well maintained.

The restrooms and laundry were closed due to the scamdemic restrictions in New Mexico.

 

The hosts were delightful, the lady on the phone who took our reservation was pleasant and the gentleman who checked us in was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area.

 

Slept with our windows open and it was the first time in a very long time we heard coyotes howling throughout the night and into the morning.

 

This is an absolute gem, we will keep this place and the area on our radar for future travels since the drive was much better than staying on the Interstate.

UPDATE 9/2020 We paid $40.44 for the exact same site...

We paid $48.64 for a water, 30amp electric, sewer site on flat gravel with free WIFi, but our Verizon was sufficient so we didn’t use it. Much higher than we like to pay but it was the only decent one in the area and we had reached our driving limit for the day.

Great customer service and they keep the park well maintained…the grass and weeds were overgrown in May on our return through the area.

We paid $62.91 for a very short and not wide, water, sewer, 30amp electric site on gravel that we barely fit on our site. Sites are so crammed together that our rig was on the edge front and back and it was extremely close for vehicles on the road. Even though we did not use any of the facilities, we were charged such an extravagant amount,

We were also very unimpressed with their customer service…we wanted to possibly extend another night because we wanted to take a drive through Garden of the Gods and immediately was told our site had someone coming into it and we didn’t want to move. We asked for two nights without moving and they could not, even though they had availability for both nights. We went online and were able to get both nights but then we would be charged for the first reservation that they would not refund. Terrible customer service, so we only stayed the first initial night.

 

Definitely would not recommend this place and we will not be returning.
