Hilltop RV Park

4076 Interstate Highway 10 West
Fort Stockton, TX 79735

Even with our rushing out of Texas and the excruciating pain with my knee this time I did manage to take a few photos as we were escorted to our site.

We paid $30 for a pull through gravel site with water, electric and sewer with a wonderful view from no other then the hilltop, they also offered free WiFi.

The restrooms were clean, the laundry room that is located in the office had 3 washers and 3 dryers.

We have stayed in Fort Stockton many times as we travel back and forth but never knew about this place and we were very impressed. They do have a pool but not much more as far as amenities to offer but a great place to stop for a night or two while traveling through Texas which is always a LOOOOONG stretch.

Lost Creek RV Park

Lost Creek RV Park
1962 US Hwy 281 South
Stephenville, TX 76401

While on our way back west and trying to beat an incoming storm and me in a wheelchair due to my knee blowout we did not take any photos.

We paid $30 for a pull through, flat corner site on gravel with a patio, water, electric and sewer. It is a small quiet park and we got the last site available.

Due to my injuries we did not check out the facilities but they advertise new laundry facilities but we did not see any type of pool or activity area.

We would probably not stay here again since it is off the beaten path and we would absolutely suggest reservations if you plan to stay.

Mariachi Grill

Mariachi Grill
45 Fannie Lane, #107
Lonoke, AR 72086

While spending a night at the Best Western Plus Lonoke Hotel we walked over to Mariachi Grill and our only complaint was we were hoping to have a Margarita but they do not serve any alcohol.

Service was excellent, the atmosphere was so quirky and the food was authentically fantastic.

What a great place that we would highly recommend and if we pass through the area again we will make it a stop for lunch.
