We absolutely LOVE the Pismo Beach area but we are not fond of the rates they charge for RV sites and from the look of things are still rising for next year.  This one was almost $30 cheaper a night and is located just down the road so we thought we would check it out.

We paid $40 for a NOT so level gravel site with water, electric and sewer that included WiFi but our Verizon MiFi worked great.  Our site was located on the corner of the entrance, the traffic was not too bad but the hill we were on was intense.  Maggie was on the top of the world, or so it felt that way.

As most of the area goes, the sites are so close to one another with little room to breathe but that is how they pack them in since the area is the big draw.

We did not check out the laundry or restrooms since there is a $10 cash deposit required and the office hours are not very convenient.

They did offer free of charge, a DVD Lending Library with a few hundred DVD’s to rent.  They limit you to 2 and will charge you $10 if not returned and there were some good titles.

We will definitely return to the area again but just not sure if we would return to this park or not.  It seemed as if this park since it was so small, felt a lot more cramped then the other one down the road.  We will check out some of the others our next time around.
