Not only to be back on the road again but to also be back to being tourists, not the cooks, the bakers, or the workers. Just two people enjoying the lives they have created for themselves.
There were several bumpy roads to tend with but all in all, it was a great driving day. We did a little over 200 miles and was able to drive through Arches National Park.
Wow! What more can we say, it was breathtaking. An absolute spiritual experience and just to think we almost decided against the drive through the park. We are so pleased that we took the few extra hours to see this magnificent area.
We have added our many photos to our Picasa Web Albums, please check them out.
After a short jaunt from the park, we pulled into the Green River KOA and almost immediately heard our first train sound in over 4 months. Up on the ranch there were no trains, planes or any type of noise anywhere, it was always so quiet and dark. Time to get back to the real world where plenty of noise exists.
After cooking and baking for others, we decided to be served as much as possible in the next few weeks, so we treated ourselves to a meal at the Tamarisk Restaurant located just a short walk from the Green River KOA.
We created separate blogs for the reviews of this restaurant and the campground. You can also check out our campground review at RV Parking, and as usual all of our photos can be viewed at our Picasa Web Albums.
