Our time here is flying as it seems it always does, time does not stand still, so we have to take life by the reigns and live our lives to the fullest!
We are still upgrading and improving our truck and trailer, secretly still wanting a Class A, but we are enjoying our current home until the right opportunity arises. Jerry installed runners on the truck, not only do they look stylish, but they also help us in and out of the truck…LOVE THEM!
We also bought new recliners, what a fiasco that was. Our first set were the rocking, swerving recliners which we both found very uncomfortable because the footrests constantly flipped up without us pulling the latch and they were hard getting in and out of them. What a pain, getting them into our trailer and then having to bring them back out and then box up to return them. Fortunately, they refunded us, but we didn’t need to return them, so we sold them at a very discounted price. We ordered new ones that they delivered in record time the ones we really wanted, electric footrests and firm, no rocking or swiveling…we are now happy campers!
We are missing our travel time and checking out new things in the area since we have seen everything that we find exciting here in Arizona, but we still love the weather, even though it has been colder and wetter than in the past times we’ve been here.
Work is going fine, just having a really hard time standing on those hard floors. Our legs and backs are really hurting, mine more than Jerry’s but his is also hurting. They have the little individual mats, but we are never in one place, so they are useless. For such a big corporation, we are amazed they do not have the good rubber mats throughout the entire huge kitchen area. To make up for it, we are asking for shorter days and hours but now they are losing people everyday which is making it harder on us, but the good news is we only have a short time left…WE’VE GOT THIS!
