The entrance into the campground is a bit deceiving, you actually go through a neighborhood with broken down trailers that are not really appealing but keep driving to the park. The new owners, who were full-timers for 4 years are in the process of updating and making this place really inviting.
We stayed in a pull-thru site that was flat and grassy with free internet and no cable but clear skies for our satellite dish.
The restrooms are outdated but were very clean.
Even though it is located close to the highway, it was peaceful, quiet and dark where we listened to the sounds of nature through the night.
We would recommend a short and even a longer stay here.
