We paid $35.60, using our 10% Good Sam discount for a water & electric site on level gravel.
The RV Park is very well maintained and groomed. All sites are pull through and either full or partial hookups.
The restrooms are clean and a nice setup, we have always liked the private rooms, but as usual we did not use them.
They also offer a 5% discount on gas at the station connected to the park which we did take advantage of in the morning as we were leaving.
After all these years of passing by this location, we decided to check out the Meteor Crater located 6 miles from the park…it was awesome!
We received a $2 discount for staying at the RV Park on the Senior ticket, so it cost us $14 each to check out the humongous hole in the desert and the museum, gift shop and tours.
It is considered to be the “Best preserved meteorite impact site on Earth” and was formed over 50,000 years ago.
If you are ever in the area, make this a “must see”, we are so glad we finally did.
