No Longer Using Verizon Broadband…

Yes, I know, we have been going on and on about how great Verizon Broadband has been for us for the past 5 years or so, but we just had to do it.

Jerry has been becoming an internet freak, almost as much as me, so we had to come up with something since WiFi will not be available as often in our future plans as we would like to use it. So…

We changed to MiFi with Verizon…fooled you guys.

Did you really think we would ever give up Verizon? We are grandfathered in with our plans that nobody else has or can get so the answer is, “NO” we would never give it up.

And, by the way, we are so glad we changed to the MiFi…it is fabulous. Now, we can both get online with our one plan and it seems faster, if that is possible.

Ordered it online since there was an additional bonus for us and it was delivered the very next day. The setup was so simple, turned it on and followed a few menu clicks and it was complete. Within minutes, we were both online enjoying the internet.

Life is certainly grand, it‘s the little things that make it so!

We've been looking at MiFi, too. Can't get the unlimited minutes, so for now we're sticking with our Sprint aircard and we just bought a Cradle Point router so we both can get online.

Thanks for visiting our blog and your comments.

Thanks so much for your comment on my site. Just took a gander at yours and I like it. I love NASCAR. I also love the geeky part of your site. I am a wannabe geek. I would love to know more about air-cards. We would love to spend more time in Nataional Forests and State Parks and I know I can't make it without internet and TV, but we, like most older folks of our era, are on a budget. So, I will be going back through your posts and see what I can learn.

With your permission, I would love to add your site to my list of blogs I follow.

Thanks so much for all the comments and support from all of you.

Pidge - Of course you can add our site to your list, we are following your blog now too! Not sure I can be called a geek and I do take that as a compliment which I am sure the way it was intended, I am more computer savvy.

Verizon has always been great for us and usually give us service when many others do not, something we have tested plenty of times. Any questions, zip us an email, we always love assisting others in their pursuit to find conveniences in this lifestyle.

We got a Mifi with Verizon last year when we spent the winter in Florida in our 5th wheel. When we got back home we disconnected our house phone that we really only used for the DSL. So we are still just using the Mifi and its gret and our cell phone of course.

We have the same situation with our AT&T. Grandfathered in with unlimited usage for a set monthly fee. Verizon would be nice, but we cannot switch. Plus our kids have AT&T and we can talk forever and ever and use no minutes. We just deal with it. :)

Can't wait to see where you guys go once you leave your dude job.

We'll be looking into the Verizon MiFi. Sounds interesting. We have a roof mounted MotoSat Hughes.net satellite but would like something for Internet connection while driving.
