Due to the circumstances, we have made our reservations ahead of time and we paid $37.30 for a 30/50 amp, water, sewer, pull through fairly flat site on gravel. Our Verizon was very spotty but they had free WiFi that was good.
Payment is completed online, once we arrived, the caretaker was very congenial and respectful and told us to pick any site. Very dark and quiet throughout the night and most sites were occupied.
From the online photos compared to what we pulled into was on opposite sides of the spectrum.There was major construction at the entrance, the pond was no longer there but instead in its place was overgrowth of weeds. The area had gorgeous views and definitely has potential, but right now just a quick overnight if more than enough for us. With some TLC this could be a cute little overnight stopover with only 14 sites, and there are additional tent sites.
