We paid $63.86 for a tiny pull through site on gravel with 30amp, water, sewer, that wasn’t even big enough to fit our motorhome and our Jeep without being very cramped.
This place is right in the middle of it all in Moab, which is a busy town. Road noise, kids everywhere and lots of campers and visitors. This park is tight…tight sites and tight roads.
The laundry and restrooms were located at the Texaco station at the park entrance, but had codes so most likely others could not use those facilities.
Check in was easy without too much customer service. Activities really ramped up when the sun went down...lots of incoming rigs and loads of foot traffic to the store, restrooms and laundry room and unfortunately we had a front row seat to it all. Even though it was an okay stop, we would not recommend due to the extreme cramping everywhere.

Some of the areas you travel in have some great dry camping (boondocking) options. You'd save a ton of money on dodgy campgrounds and have a little more distance from other campers.
You are very right, but we don’t boondock anymore, we prefer the hookups.
