With only 10 more days before we are on the road again, we are so ready to head off this sandbar! Our jobs have been fun, management has been great, we have met many wonderful friends but these past few weeks have been emotionally draining with the threatening weather. And, even though Danny will be much closer than Bill got to us, the good news is that it probably won't even reach a Hurricane...whew! We may get high water, wicked waves, strong winds, and lots of rain but still it could be so much worse.

Hang in there guys. Sounds like you've had enough excitement for this hurricane season. We've had to evacuate once...for Claudette..but just overnight. Nothing happened. We've got another 4 weeks so we're keeping our fingers crossed here in the Gulf!
