Jerry with the Shrimps!

Kimberly with the Shrimps!

Dixie Crossroads has two locations, one in Orlando and one that we went to in Titusville, Florida. They are World Famous for their seafood, especially their specialty, rock shrimp.

The staff is smiling and very friendly and the aroma of the place is so exquisite!

We had a huge sampler plate with scallops, crab legs, lobster and their famous Rock Shrimp. We chose to have ours broiled and each tried a different choice of the variety of seasonings they offer, Jerry had Key West (tangy blend of lemon, basil and thyme) and I had Old Bay (spicy crab boil seasoning), they were both very pleasantly tasteful. There is always a line to get in so plan to wait, the system is to check in and then they call your party over the speaker system, which by the way cannot be heard while dining. We were sat at a table right near the kitchen door and it was not a distraction at all. For an overall rating it would be a 10, everything was perfect.

International RV Park & Campground

Race loved posing for this photo!

The laundry room is located outside but is covered!

Race thinking about going swimming!

Just relaxing out by the pool!

This area will be overflowing with NASCAR fans for some dry docking for race weeks.

This campground is so close to the Daytona International Speedway you can hear the cars on the tracks. They have full hookups and for the races they have many dry camping sites available for $20 per person per night and the other sites for the race weeks go up to $95 per night for two people. The sites are fairly small and you are very close to your neighbors and the way most are situated you have a few neighbors around your own site.

They have clean restrooms, laundry facilities, a swimming pool, and a well stocked store with many items that you may have forgot to pack. I would recommend this park but not during race week in February since the prices are more than tripled.

Being right in the middle of the city but you felt as if you were in the woods!

The Office has a store with many of the essentials stocked.

The playground & some of the sites.

The restrooms, showers and the laundry facility building.
Race helping out with the laundry.
Race waiting his turn for the showers.

Race was happy to see the Happy Camper trash can!

It was a tad cold and a little damp but our goal was to get as far away from that weather as we could possibly get and this was a perfect ending to a perfect day.

This campground is located right between an Arby’s and a BP gas station but when you get into the park you see trees and cows, and you feel as if you are in the woods. The directions are so clear, they lead you directly to the campground, and when you arrive, they charge you the price that was in the Happy Camper book. Even though at the same time we arrived there were other guests checking in, the clerk was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The restrooms and laundry facilities were well-kept and very large areas for all of your needs. They have a playground area and even though trees surround the entire park, the sites are bare and are all pull throughs so that it is easily able to maneuver any size rig. There are so many restaurants within a very short walking distance of the park. I would recommend this park to everyone and would definitely return if ever in that area again.
