If you plan to have more than
one Margarita, order the Grande, otherwise the regular one is small and both
the regular and then the Grande is too much, we did it but we would recommend just
starting with the Grande.
The Chips & Salsa were
great to snack on while we enjoyed our drinks, the chips were light and tasty,
not greasy at all and the salsa had a nice bite to it which of course was good
to have a Margarita to cool our taste buds.
The décor is so creative and
gives you a sense of authenticity of how the food was going to taste. The blankets as table cloths is just a delight,
the colors are vibrant and makes the entire place feel warm and welcoming.
When we eat out, we try to
taste as many items as possible and this time was no exception, so we both
opted for the Combination Plates. The
great thing about their Combinations are you choose from many items and create
your own. Most combos are pre-picked for
you so this way made it enjoyable.
Jerry’s Combination included
2 Beef Enchiladas and 1 Shredded Beef Burrito…the Enchiladas were good but the
Burrito was the best, the meat was so succulent and juicy and the perfect
seasonings made you just want more.
My Combination included a
Chicken Enchilada, a Beef Tamale and a Chile Relleno. The Enchilada and the Tamale were good, they
each had an authentic taste to them but the Chile Relleno was the best we had tasted
in such a long time. The Chile had a
little heat but not the type that burned, instead it was a simmering heat that
added great taste to the dish.
The rice, beans and sauces on
both plates were a great addition to the entire meal and filled all voids in
our tummies. Nobody should go away
hungry, I gave a portion of mine to Jerry but he would have been full without
my contribution to him.
