2017 Update - THIS WILL BE OUR LAST VISIT TO THIS LOCATION...THE NEW OWNERS ARE GREEDY AND RUDE! We made our two week reservation through Coast to Coast because we were working at Sam's for 10 days. Upon arrival we were instructed to go and just find an open site then come back and settle up...the new staff was unorganized. After we settled in, we headed to the office which at this time were told, not only were they charging us our $10 in points but we would need to pay an additional $175 for administrative fees...ARE YOU KIDDING? We have paid an additional, up to $5 per night for fees but NEVER this much so we asked to see the manager, which was actually the owner as she introduced herself. She blatantly informed us that as Coast to Coast members, she could charge us anything she wanted and continued to be rude. So we mutually agreed that we would just stay the one night since it was getting late and we had already set up, but then would cancel the rest of our reservation without any penalties.

This place is a dive and from what we found out from other members they are trying to upgrade everything and that is why they are charging anyone they can to pay for them. So unless new owners take over and/or the outrageous additional charges go away, we will choose to stay across the street at a much nicer park with our Coast to Coast membership with NO additional charges.

We used our Coast to Coast membership and paid $15 for a FHU, not including cable or WiFi. This is mainly a membership resort with many retirees, we didn’t see any couples younger then us. Both of our neighbors had so much stuff around their sites that made the area look very tacky.



The facilities were a bit outdated and most of the areas had that old smell to it but it was kept very clean and everyone there was so friendly.



The pools and spas were filled with mineral water without the sulfur smell, they were open 24 hours and were used very often.



It’s a large park with all sorts of planned activities, plus they offered; putt-putt golf, tennis, shuffleboard, fishing and all sorts of other things to do.





The surrounding mountains makes for some spectacular photos. If we are ever in the area again, we would stay here.

Our next visit was on Labor Day Weekend in 2012 for a week and was not the wisest decision.  The weather was above 100 degrees and only cooling to 80 at night the entire time we were there and the park was nearly empty.



NOTE 2014 VISIT - It feels as if they just keep tacking on more charges without updating their resort at all.  Still old and musty and not very welcoming, the staff were great but nothing out of the ordinary. In the future if we have a choice between some of the other parks in the area we will try to get into them before this one but as a last resort we would stay here again.
