In the beginning of our travels, we mapped our route and
went over all the details, especially if there were any bridges to be
crossed. Jerry would go online and
research each and every one of them to see exactly what he was in store for the
next day and then lost almost an entire night’s sleep just worrying about
crossing the bridge.
Crossing some of the bridges have been intimidating, others
not so much, but most have been a great part of our adventures and learning
experience. After a few years of
crossing them with only a few incidents, we began to calm down. It was then we began to understand that even
when there were scary things ahead of us, all we had to do is hold on tight and
keep moving forward. There is not a
bridge we cannot cross, nor is there a problem we cannot move through when we
set our sights ahead.

I'm lucky - Jim doesn't have any problem crossing bridges. Great reference to life. I had never really thought about it that way.
A bridge to adventure! A and B in one comment. :C)
I really enjoyed this post, as it caused me to stop and ponder a bit. We have not only those tangible bridges to cross in our RV travels but the bridges in Life that we must traverse. In plotting routes, I do much the same, writing out each day on a sheet of paper after consulting various atlases, including the Motor Carrier Atlas - don't leave the campground without it! Thanks for a wonderful read!
There's something very photogenic about bridges. I enjoy seeing new ones! Is the problem with them low clearance?
Aside from that, I'm your co-host for the A-to-Z! If you didn't get an email from me the other day, it may have gone in your spam box. Please feel free to contact me via my profile or reply to that email if you need anything or have any questions.

So glad you are doing the A to Z. It sounds like fun and I will keep "tuned in".
Love the bridge pictures! Some bridges can certainly be intimidating to cross. Love your correlation to life and bridges....some good thoughts to ponder.
